About the ACRC 7s | American Collegiate Rugby Championship Sevens

The American Collegiate Rugby Championship (ACRC) Sevens was first held in 2014 in Virginia Beach. The sevens championship was formed from ACRC team who decided to play 15-a-side rugby in the fall and seven-a-side rugby in the spring. So far 8 conferences have fully joined the process, but additional teams are choosing to be a part of the ACRC and are welcome to participate.

The ACRC Sevens is a celebration of the end of the spring season for teams who want to participate in one final competition before the end of the season. Some teams choose to participate in events after the school season is concluded and the ACRC Sevens then presents those teams with an opportunity to play meaningful rugby before other events in the summer.
